Project Profile
The World Bank
Washington, DC
Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. assessed the condition and estimated repair and renovation costs for seven buildings at The World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC. The headquarters buildings included approximately 3.8 million square feet of building space. Components evaluated included site systems, structural systems, exterior building envelopes, roof systems, interior finishes, security systems, mechanical and electrical systems, fire and life safety systems, and elevators.
Capital expenditures forecasts and financial plans were developed by building and rolled up into a summary for the entire system. FEA used our internally developed Integrated Facility Management Information System (IFMIS) software to capture, store, and organize the data.
The facility condition assessment data allowed The World Bank to more effectively manage their facilities for the life-cycle of the buildings with unbiased information that reflected the internal operational and funding priorities of the Bank.
