FEA Opens New Boston Office Location

Fairfax, Va., April 17, 2007 - Facility Engineering Associates, PC (FEA) would like to announce its northeast expansion with the opening of a new Boston area office. Rebecca A. Gutierrez, R.S. and James L. Justus, P.E. have been named Office Manager and Associate-in-Charge, respectively, and will manage local projects out of FEA's Waltham, Mass. office location.

"Over the past four years, FEA has been fortunate to develop strong relationships with various New England clients. In order to better accommodate their needs, we decided to establish a permanent presence in the Boston area," said Ms. Gutierrez. "This new, metro west office location will allow us to provide prompt solutions to our existing clients as well enable us to conveniently work with new clients throughout the northeast."

Ms. Gutierrez is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University's five-year ABET accredited professional degree program in Mechanical Engineering. She has been heavily involved in the exterior, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of facility condition assessment projects and reserve studies during her five years at FEA's Washington, DC office. Some of her project experience includes condition assessments for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and American University, implementation services for the Architect of the Capitol, parametric evaluations for the National Nuclear Security Administration and comprehensive condition assessments and cost estimating for the National Park Service. Ms. Gutierrez has also completed over forty reserve studies and is designated as a Reserve Specialist by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). She is a member of the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) and was nominated as the Treasurer of AFE Chapter 168.
