Fairfax Addition to Facility Engineering Associates, P.C.

Fairfax, VA November 1, 2005 - Douglas E. Yon, P.E. has accepted a position with Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. (FEA) as Project Manager in the Condition Assessment and Facility Management group in Fairfax, VA. Mr. Yon comes to FEA from VFA, Inc. in Boston, MA. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Florida.

Mr. Yon brings over 25 years of facilities, construction, and energy management experience to FEA. As a facilities assessment consultant, project manager, and assistant project director, Mr. Yon's past responsibilities included analyzing and resolving building mechanical and electrical system problems, performing infrastructure and facility assessments, performing and managing facility Capital Planning and Management Solutions (CPMS) projects, and combining innovative business and technology practices for better return on capital investment for building property portfolios.
