Advancing Sustainable Facility Performance with the SFP

Mayra at SFP Panel ChapterOn April 21st the Capital Chapter of IFMA hosted a Case Studies and Panel Discussion on “Advancing Sustainable Facility Performance with the SFP” through their Professional Development program.

Out of the approximately 400 SFP certified FM industry related professionals worldwide, 4 of them spoke at the event that was held at MITRE 2 in McLean, Virginia.

One of the panelist, Mayra Portalatin, RS,SFP LEED AP O+M, Sr. Professional Facility Engineering Associates, PC. answered the questions – How and where to apply for the certification,Time frame, cost, and all other related questions.  Mayra teaches the SFP program and emphasized that the material offered in the SFP program will help FM industry related professionals through any other sustainability certifications such as LEED, Green Seal etc…
